Today's WIP is the wippiest of wips that ever wipped. :)



But first, here's "Erosion" all framed up. (I'm hoping that bottom right edge will "fall" otherwise, I'll have to take it back to the framer!)

As my next hand-stitch project.

ASIDE: by the way, although I mentioned in the fall that I was conducting leaf experiments - I never posted about the results. I was testing different methods to preserve fallen leaves - by far, the easiest and least ecologically harmful method was using gel medium on them, which leaves them nice and pliable (as you  can see here, I even have them pinned); reconstituting leaves didn't work enormously well, although the middle one on the right hand side is one such reconstituted leaf (i.e. it was dry and crumbly, I soaked it in water for a few days and then slathered on the gel medium); and next time, I will definitely use matt gel medium. END OF ASIDE.



And then I'm considering some version of this - or possibly, just random abstract shapes cut out and placed all over it, or even MORE randomly -just hand stitch the dog out of it. (Which frankly, I am leaning towards but am a little skeered of.)

Help me make a decision?
